We moved!

Thx to everyone who joined us last Thursday to celebrate our relocation to Curiosity Lab, Peachtree Corners, GA, and the launch of la French Tech ATL

Peachtree Corners, September 9 , 2021

After 10 wonderful years at the French Consulate General of France in Atlanta, we recently announced our relocation to Curiosity Lab at Peachtree Corners - the heart of what is being called "Silicon Orchard" where we will be hosting the brand new La French Tech Atlanta Community. The Metro Atlanta region was indeed awarded La French Tech Label earlier this year, recognizing the vibrant and booming Tech ecosystem of the capital of the Southeast of the United States. Read the full PR about our relocation HERE and articles from AJCGwinnett Daily and Hypepotamus.

Peachtree Corners being one of the first U.S. smart cities powered by real-world connected infrastructure and 5G, we are thrilled to be part of this innovative ecosystem and are looking forward to all that the future holds for our chamber and the Atlanta area.

This past Thursday, September 9, members, friends as well as the local and international business communities were invited to celebrate our move and the official launch of the La French Tech Atlanta duing a Special Ribbon Cutting event. More than 110 people joined us to discover our new environment in our new Peachtree Corners offices. The great weather, speakers, and company created the perfect celebration for this important milestone!

Our member, Curiosity Lab, showcased its new infrastructure that enables French startups to work with innovators and prove out new technologies in a real-world environment. These vibrant technology demonstrations are reflecting the power of city-owned connected infrastructure, including cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) technology. From autonomous vehicles/machines/drones/services, robotics to sustainable technologies such as solar roadways developed by French company, Wattway.

Our guests also enjoyed some live demonstrations featuring an AV Shuttle being there for attendees to get on and see, a Drone Test (The company, a Startup out of GA Tech, uses real time data to map our flight paths for drones and can adjust path in real time based on changes in the environment and a robot who delivered the ribbon and scissors.
and more.

Thank you to the Mayor of Peachtree Corners, Mike Mason, for you welcome remarks and to the city Manager, Brian Johnson, for sharing with us how this journey started two years ago. Our special thanks to Stephan Donze, founder and CEO of French software company, AODocs, for sharing with us the story of his company and why he decided to move the headquarters of his company to Atlanta a few years ago.
