Company Internship Profile and Proposal
Do you have a short-term project that needs attention and no one to do it? The Chattanooga chapter of the French American Chamber of Commerce (FACC) is pleased to announce an internship program to help you find a highly trained university-level engineering student to meet your need. This can be a cost effective way to meet short term goals or address clearly-defined work that can be accomplished in two-to-12 months.
The students participating in this program are about to graduate from France’s premier engineering school ENSAM (École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers). They are ready to work and are fluent English speakers. The interns will have background in the areas of mechanical, industrial or power engineering, including experience with:
Mechanics, materials, processes
Fluids and energy systems
Design, industrialization, risk management and decision-making
To apply for an intern, you need to:
- Define the scope of the project in two lines.
- Define the time frame (2 to 12 months).
- Describe the compensation (at least minimum wage).
- Name a contact person in your company to coordinate the application and select the candidate.
FACC will work with ENSAM, and you will be able to choose your intern from a small pool of prescreened, highly qualified candidates.
If you would like to have an intern beginning in the summer of fall of 2014, please complete the following Company Profile form and e-mail it to FACC Chattanooga by October 15th. After receiving your form, we will contact you to finalize arrangements and start the process of recruiting for your company.
