Financial Controller

SUNTEC Group is a world leader in thermal engineering equipment. Since 1934, SUNTEC has been designing, manufacturing and selling liquid fuel pumps and accessories for residential and industrial heating. The Head Office and the main production facility are located in Dijon, France. Revenues: $42 M.
SUNTEC Inc. is a well established company with a leading market position. Customers are large OEMs and a distribution network exceeding 1000 points of sales. US operations are located in Glasgow KY. They include the Sales & Marketing department, an assembly workshop and a logistics platform delivering North American customers.

The position:
Located in Glasgow, KY, Suntec Industries, Inc. is looking for a Financial Controller in charge of managing all administration and accounting functions and to report to the headquarters in France. The Financial Controller will also be acting as a site manager.

General and subsidiaries accounting:
-    Billing and account trade and inter-company receivables
-    Trade and inter-company payables
-    Payroll and personal expenses
-    Fixed assets and depreciation management
-    Industrial accounting
-    General accounting including monthly and reporting to HQ in US GAAP and IFRS rules
-    General accounting including annual reporting to HQ in US GAAP and IFRS rules
-    Contact with independent auditors.
Fiscal:
-    Sales taxes and other tax compliances
-    Preparation of annual fiscal bundle forms with support of independent auditors      
Treasury:
-    Banking and relationships with banks
-    Weekly cash report
-    Elaboration of forecasted cash schedule
Internal controlling:
-    Oversee and maintain group administration, accounting and inventories management policies
-    Analyze and report monthly variances in P/L and balance sheet accounts, referring to forecast and budget.
-    Oversee and manage annual physical inventory in relationship with group supply chain coordinator
Budget:
-    Elaboration of budget (P/L, balance Sheet, cash flow annual and monthly reports) in relation with marketing and supply chain department
-    Elaboration of standards costs

Requirements of the position:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Professional experience: 5 to 10 years in accounting
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS rules as well as AS400 system
- Computer skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Requested profile:
The candidate must be highly organized, adaptable, initiative taker, hands-on, autonomous and able to work without constant supervision. Capable of assisting HQ by providing constructive analysis and ideas.
The candidate must have excellent communication skills for external contacts with vendors, customers, auditors, authorities and Suntec Industries’ employees (supply chain US coordinator in Dijon, management and European colleagues from marketing, finances and EDP department).

Salary:
The compensation is a fixed salary based on experience and education.
